Myri-10G "Gen2" (5.0 GT/s) PCI Express NICs
Test Results with "Gen2" PCI Express Motherboards

Myri-10G "Gen2" (5 GT/s) PCI Express NICs (10G-PCIE2-8B2-* NICs) have been tested in commercially available motherboards with "Gen2" PCI Express chipsets. The following is a list of motherboards and chip sets in which these tests have verified interoperability.

Verified Interoperability with Myri-10G "Gen2" PCI Express NICs
Chipset Motherboard
Intel X58 MSI X58-Pro (MS-7522)
Intel 5520 (Tylersburg-36D) Asus RS700-E6/RS4
Intel S5520HC
Supermicro X8DAi
Intel 5500 (Tylersburg-24D) Asus RS500-E6-PS4

Clicking on the name of the motherboard in the above table will yield two performance measurements: the PCI Express Read DMA and Write DMA performance for the motherboard, and the Myri10GE (10-Gigabit Ethernet driver) netperf send performance data for two Myri-10G "Gen2" PCI Express NICs (10G-PCIE2-8B) connected point-to-point (switchless). Except where noted, the Linux operating system was used for all of the above interoperability testing.

We are continuing to test additional chipsets and motherboards, and will provide new test data as it becomes available.
